Course Overview
This comprehensive Mat Pilates Teacher Training Course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a proficient Pilates instructor. Spanning over 10 half day sessions, this course will cover all aspects of mat-based Pilates, from foundational exercises to advanced techniques, ensuring you are well-prepared to instruct a diverse range of clients.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:
- Master the Fundamentals: Gain proficiency in teaching classic mat Pilates exercises, focusing on improving mobility, core stability, and overall body strength for your clients.
- Understand Exercise Progressions and Regressions: Learn to modify exercises to suit clients of various fitness levels, ensuring safe and effective training for beginners to intermediate clients.
- Utilise Effective Cue: Develop skills in providing clear and precise verbal, visual, and kinaesthetic cues to enhance client understanding and engagement during sessions.
- Incorporate Advanced Anatomy Knowledge: Delve into the intricacies of human anatomy and movement science, with a particular focus on:
- Myofascial Slings: Explore the interconnected fascial networks and their role in movement efficiency.

Course Structure
This part-time course includes:
- 10 Practical Training Sessions: Each four-hour session combines hands-on practice with theoretical knowledge.
- Advanced Movement Theory: Gain a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology, vital for effective Pilates instruction.
- Mat Class Practice: 15 hours
- Observation Hours: 15 hours
- Practice Teaching: 25 hours.
- Final Assessment: Concluding the course with both a written and practical exam to test your knowledge and teaching skills.

Course Cost
- Full Course Upfront: £1,150
- Instalment Plan: £300 non-refundable deposit, followed by 4 installments of £250 each (payable on the 1st of January, February, March and April)
Fees include all training, practice sessions, exams, and course materials, including a comprehensive manual and a certificate upon successful completion.
